Some of my art (particularly the art I used to do way back) is pretty dark as well and two of my most recent art posts on here were pretty dark. There’s nothing wrong with drawing what’s on your mind. I usually try drawing more light hearted stuff nowadays but I still have that dark side of me deep inside myself. And every now and then I have to draw something more dark than usual.
